What is the difference between the BIOMAX and SaunaMAX Pro?Updated 5 months ago
The BIOMAX series of lights have a maximum operating temperature of 130 F. We recommend our SaunaMAX Pro for use in high temp and high moisture environments. They have an operating temperature of up to 150 F.
The SaunaMAX is a slightly less powerful light and not as advanced as the BIOMAX light, because it uses smaller LEDs instead of the larger LEDs used on the BIOMAX due to temperature considerations. Keep in mind the size of the LEDs is only a partly responsible for the intensity we are able to produce with these lights. The SaunaMAX Pro is still a very powerful unit!
All of our BIOMAX and SaunaMAX models include our patent pending R+ | NIR + spectral output featuring the six wavelengths of 480nm /630nm /660nm/ 810nm /830nm /850nm. However, a 7th wavelength 1060nm, was recently added to the BIOMAX Series. Please check out the following article for more information: R+ | NIR+: THE MOST ADVANCED LED THERAPY LIGHT SPECTRUM
This spectral output is perfected for human therapy use as the entire science of human therapy lights is emitting a spectral output that matches as close as possible to the body's own coefficient of spectral absorption. By efficiently emitting as close as possible to what the body will absorb within the studied therapeutic "action zones", we're able to maximize the production of ATP and mitochondrial stimulation. This is the science of red/NIR light therapy.
All of our BIOMAX and SaunaMAX lights do also feature the ability to adjust the intensity level of the red and NIR portions of the array individually so that you may customize your output as well as independent 480nm/blue LED control.
